Supervisor Clinical Services – Manhattan
The Supervisor of Clinical case management in a behavioral health MCO will provide supervision and support to a professional Clinical Team in providing quality service to both external and internal clients.
Primary duties include: Day to day management of clinical and support staff who complete a variety of functions within a broad scope of evaluating and authorizing all levels of care, performing intensive care management, and managing the peer review process. Auditing and review functions of all assigned staff. Establishing and monitoring staff training and ongoing staff development. Addressing a variety of requests from intradepartmental customers including claims, provider management and account management. Insuring compliance with a range of regulatory requirements including state and federal, corporate, client and accrediting agency requirements.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong management background within a managed care setting, experience in direct practice within a behavioral health setting, and significant proficiency in information systems primarily care management information systems and Word Office Suite NYS Licensure is required.

FIELD PLACEMENT SPECIALIST SILVER SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK NEW YORK UNIVERSITY
The New York University Silver School of Social Work invites applications for a field placement specialist in our Field Learning & Community Partnerships area, beginning in September 2010 if possible. This is a renewable 11-month non-tenure-eligible position, which will be at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Instructor.
The position involves close collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Field Learning & Community Partnerships and all members of the Field Learning team. The primary responsibility will be to coordinate field placements for MSW students. Other responsibilities include working to enhance the School’s engagement with the community, and developing linkages with the practice community to facilitate students’ field learning.
An MSW degree and at least three to five years post-master’s agency-based experience are required; a PhD in social work or a related field is desirable. The candidate must have extensive experience with field education and be knowledgeable about a wide range of social service and health care settings. Other desired requirements include knowledge of social work practice with children and families, quality management, program evaluation and supervision/field instruction.

UK Child Welfare Social Worker
Kent, England, which is just outside London, will be in the US in October 2010 to interview social workers. Generous salaries ranging from $35,000-65,900 are offered based on experience and a $9000 relocation package is offered to successful candidates.
