For over 25 years Currents has been the official newsletter of the NASW-NYC Chapter. It is provided to over 10,000 members as a membership benefit 6 times each year, reaching the broadest base of the New York City social work market. NASW members are employed in a broad spectrum of settings, including social service agencies, hospitals, businesses, nursing homes, managed care, criminal justice, and government. They work as administrators, case managers, supervisors, educators, private practitioners, community organizers, school social workers, employee assistance counselors, and more. Please email us at ads@naswnyc.org and include all billing information and your advertisement in your email to ensure publication. The information should include:

Currents Accepts Advertising for: Professional development meetings such as workshops, conferences, classes, and courses; employment; publication; office rentals; social work related productions and services; organizational services; referral for organizations and institutions; and consultation/supervision/study groups (limited to those that hold ACSW or highest certificate of license in one's state and are members of NASW).
We have changed our rates for the website. To post your employment ad on our website the cost is $60 for 200 words or less, and $1 for each additional word. You can email your ad for the website to: webads@naswnyc.org. You will be given a quote and told when the ad can be posted; it generally takes about one (1) business day to post an ad; and it will remain on our website www.naswnyc.org for at least 45 days.
Please email your advertisement as you would like it to appear on our web site and billing information to webads@naswnyc.org. GENERAL INFORMATION: The New York City Chapter NASW mailing list contains approximately 10,000 names of members, who live or work in the five boroughs of New York City. The list can be rented in its entirety, or broken down into individual boroughs ONLY. No other break downs are available. NASW-NYC only provides its mailing list for materials that are either continuing education or for professional development related. We do not rent e-mail addresses.
